Welcome, Fall.

Welcome, Fall.

Today marks the first day of fall—and it’s no secret that this is our favourite season. There’s nothing quite like lighting a candle, pouring a hot cup of coffee in a handmade mug, and snuggling under a blanket while the air outside turns crisp.

Living in our little village, nestled at the bottom of the valley, we’re surrounded by trees that are just at the beginning of their autumn show. The hillsides slowly shift into shades of gold, amber, and deep crimson, and every walk outdoors feels like a quiet celebration of change.

Over the past couple years, we’ve made a family tradition of going apple picking each fall. It’s one of those simple joys we look forward to—wandering through the orchard, filling bags with crisp apples, and capturing a few photos of Wallace among the rows of trees. We’re planning to go again this weekend, and I know it will be the highlight of our week!

This weekend also so brings us to The Gathered For Fall Market in Woodstock, NB, where the season truly comes alive—warm apple cider, handmade treasures, and the energy of a community gathering to embrace the coziness of autumn. Markets always remind us why we love what we do: creating pieces that become part of your own rituals and traditions.

The shifting colours on the hills remind us to pause, to breathe a little deeper, and to notice the beauty that comes with change. Fall feels like nature’s way of telling us to slow down and simply enjoy where we are.

Here’s to the start of fall—may it be full of colour, warmth, and small moments that feel like magic.
